PraFor programs are located in Cadiz Province (Famous 'Costa de la Luz') and mainly in
El Puerto de Santa Maria, a beatiful town of the south of Spain, a favorite for those who prefer a more intimate vacation or educational experience.

It has all the amenities to make your stay a memorable one: Flamenco taverns, pubs, restaurants, discos, town fiestas and bullfights. This area enjoys a mild climate year round with over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 22° Celsius (72° F).

Its coasts, covered by countless beaches of fine sand, are extended by the Gaditan littoral along 260 kilometres.

It is noted for its sherry wine and first class beaches where all kinds of water sports can be practiced.

Unspoiled by international tourism, yet a popular place for domestic tourism, this region is also famous for its "vino de Jerez", or Sherry, and its marvellous "Pueblos Blancos" (white villages).

El Puerto is also famous for the joy and enthusiasm with which they celebrate their festivities and holidays: Carnival, Holy Week, Feria (fair) and Flamenco, singing and dancing.

El Puerto is a town with a vast history. It was here that Columbus met the owner of his flagship the Santa María, Juan de la Cosa, who was his pilot in 1492. Later many palaces were built in El Puerto on the proceeds of American trade.

Puerto de Santa Maria is just 1 1/2 hours from Seville, making it easy and economical to visit. A ferry service connects El Puerto with Cadiz.
