Relative pronouns introduce subordinate clauses within the main clause.

In English, the most frequently used relative pronouns are who, whom, that, which, and whose. In Spanish, relative pronouns are que, quien, cual, lo que, and cuyo. Que can mean who, that, or which.

Dáme las cartas que están en la mesa./Give me the letters that are on the table.
¿Es usted el hombre que necesita ayuda?/Are you the man that need help.
